The Colas Foundation FundThe Colas Foundation Fund, a component fund of The Oregon Community Foundation, was established on January 15, 2010 because our company, Colas Construction, Inc., is dedicated to finding a Portland based, unifying community vehicle to assist the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. As a native of Haiti, the owner of Colas Construction, Hermann Colas, Jr., maintains an intimate connection to the crisis and has heard from countless members of the community all asking how to best assist in the relief and recovery efforts. In an effort to provide the best advice on how to aid in the efforts, Colas Construction has teamed with The Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) and developed a designated fund through OCF 100% of the proceeds go to a selection of carefully considered non-profit organizations that are committed to Haiti’s Relief. They are listed below.
The Colas Foundation Fund Benefits: Your tax-deductible donation will directly support the people of Haiti, assisting in the immediate relief efforts and the long-term redevelopment of the country as it battles to emerge from poverty and the ravaging effects of multiple natural disasters. Being a part of a local solution to assist in Haiti is of fundamental importance to the owners and members of Colas Construction, Inc. We thank you for your support and for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely,
Hermann Colas, Jr. CEO, Colas Construction, Inc |
